From the program for You Can't Take It With You: MARK BAZERMAN (Paul Sycamore) has performed in at least one production each year since he joined Kanata Theatre in 1997, starting as the miscreant Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing. He most recently portrayed a variety of characters in Departures and Arrivals and in Kindertransport, and was also in The Miss Firecracker Contest and The Madwoman of Chaillot. Being a victim of downsizing, Mark is available for acting projects or (he says) for heavy lifting! From the program for West Moon Street: MARK BAZERMAN (Mr. Podgers) returns to the stage after a long hiatus. Having started his acting career as Borachio in Kanata Theatre’s 1997 production of Much Ado About Nothing, he went on to roles in nine other Kanata Theatre productions such as The Mad Woman of Chaillot, Kindertransport, The Wild Guys and, most recently, I Hate Hamlet. He has appeared onstage in the Sock’n’Buskin Studio Series and the Ottawa Fringe festival, and also acted in several films and videos. Mark last peformed as Elwood in Goya Theatre’s 2006 production of A Party to Murder. This page generated on 2011/10/06 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
