From the program for You Can't Take It With You: PAUL BEHNCKE (Tony Kirby) finds himself pursuing marriage on the stage of Kanata Theatre for the fourth year in a row. First it was as a terrorist in The Madwoman of Chaillot, next as a mental patient in The Curious Savage and most recently as The Pilot in Departures and Arrivals. Paul thanks his understanding wife as he plays yet another young man who happily "gets the girl". From the program for Happy Birthday Dear Alice: PAUL BEHNCKE (Cormac) first appeared on the Kanata Theatre stage in 1999 as Pierre in The Madwoman of Chaillot. He has since appeared in five other productions including Jeffrey in The Curious Savage, Tony Kirby in You Can't Take it With You and most recently as Gerry in Dancing at Lughnasa. When not on stage, Paul contributes to Kanata Theatre's publicity and play selection committees as well as helping with set construction, properties, furnishings and house management. From the program for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest: PAUL BEHNCKE (Scanlon) has performed in 7 previous productions with Kanata Theatre and this is his 2nd role as a mental patient, the first as Jeffrey in The Curious Savage. Other credits include Cormac in Happy Birthday Dear Alice, Gerry in Dancing at Lughnasa and Tony Kirby in You Can't Take it with You. Paul can also be found serving champagne on Opening Nights, painting sets and assisting with properties and furnishings. Lastly, special thanks go to his family for always supporting him.
