From the program for Noises Off: BARRY CAIGER (Frederick Fellowes/Philip Brent) last appeared onstage at Ron Maslin as Stanley in the farce Caught in the Net. This time he keeps most of his clothes ON, thank goodness. Other K.T. appearances include Cogburn in Out of Sight-Out of Murder and Inspector Egan, in Murder by Misadventure. He directed Who's Under Where? and co-directed No Sex Please, We're British at Ottawa Little Theatre. Barry appeared in How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying for Orpheus Musical Theatre and as Scrooge in Community Strictly Musical's (C.S.M's) production of Scrooge. From the program for Blithe Spirit: BARRY CAIGER (director) has directed for OLT (Who’s Under Where? and No Sex Please, We’re British), Orpheus, Just for Kids Theatre and Dartmouth Players. However, this is his first directing stint for Kanata Theatre. Barry was last seen onstage as Frederick in the farce Noises Off which won the Ottawa Critic’s Choice Award for 2006. Other KT roles include Stanley in Caught in the Net, Cogburn in Out of Sight - Out of Murder and Inspector Egan, in Murder by Misadventure. He appeared in How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying for Orpheus and as Scrooge in Community Strictly Musical’s production of Scrooge. From the program for The Seagull: BARRY CAIGER (Sorin) directed Blithe Spirit last year for Kanata Theatre. He last trod the Kanata Theatre boards as the Sheriff in Hi, Ho, Robin Hood. Other appearances include Noises Off, Caught in the Net, Out of Sight...Out of Murder and Murder by Misadventure. He has currently been involved in two locally shot films Pirates: Quest for Snake Island and Attack of the Giant Leeches. From the program for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest: BARRY CAIGER (Cheswick) directed last season's Blithe Spirit for Kanata Theatre and he recently appeared as Sorin in The Seagull. Other appearances include Noises Off, Caught in the Net, Out of Sight. . . Out of Murder, Murder by Misadventure and Hi, Ho, Robin Hood. Over the years, he has performed in productions with Orpheus, O.L.T., The Company of Musical Theatre and Nepean Little Theatre. He has also been involved in two locally shot films Pirates: Quest for Snake Island and Attack of the Giant Leeches. From the program for The Taming of the Shrew: BARRY CAIGER (Gremio) was Cheswick in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Sorin in The Seagull, and Frederick in Noises Off. Other plays for Kanata Theatre include Caught in the Net, Out of Sight…Out of Murder, Murder by Misadventure and Hi, Ho, Robin Hood. He has performed many roles for Orpheus, Ottawa Little Theatre, Company of Musical Theatre, Phoenix, Nepean Little Theatre and others. He received an EODL award for best cameo performance in SUZART’s Once Upon a Mattress. He directed Kanata Theatre’s recent production of Blithe Spirit. From the program for Cash on Delivery: BARRY CAIGER (Mr. Jenkins) last appeared at Kanata Theatre as Gremio in The Taming of the Shrew. He has performed in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Seagull, Noises Off, Caught in the Net, and many others. Barry is a member of the ‘Real Old Men Constructing Sets’ group. He directed Blithe Spirit in 2007. He has performed in productions with almost all theatrical groups in Ottawa and he has appeared in two independent films. In 2009 Barry received an E.O.D.L award for Best Cameo Performance in Suzart’s production of Once upon a Mattress.
