ALAIN CHAMSI (John Cummings) has been on stage for five
years now with Kanata Theatre in Rumors, The Uninvited, The
Snow Ball and most recently in a guest role as Bruce
Jamieson in Staff Room. He acted for Lakeside Players in
The Melville Boys and Drinking Alone. Following
his first foray as a director (Lakeside Nurse Jane
Goes to Hawaii), Alain is very excited about the opportunity
this role offers him a well-written complex character and
a chance to work with an excellent team, including three very
talented actresses.

The Long Weekend:
ALAIN CHAMSI (Director) makes his Kanata Theatre directing debut with
The Long Weekend. He has performed in a number of KT productions such as
Rumors, The Snow Ball, The Uninvited, and last year’s Here on the Flight
Path. Alain has also appeared on stage with The Lakeside Players in The
Melville Boys and Drinking Alone, as well as directing Nurse Jane
Goes to Hawaii and The Big Leap, in which he also had a small part.

Having Hope at Home:
ALAIN CHAMSI (Director) became involved in theatre later in life. Getting his start at Kanata Theatre, Alain has performed in a number of KT productions such as
Rumors, The Snow Ball, The Uninvited, and Here on the Flight Path and, most recently, directed
The Long Weekend. Alain was last seen on stage in Ottawa Little Theatre’s production of
My Old Lady. His last directorial turn came at The Gladstone, with the world premiere of
Three Wishes. With The Lakeside Players, Alain has appeared in The Melville Boys and
Drinking Alone, and has directed Nurse Jane Goes to Hawaii and
The Big Leap, in which he also had a small part. Alain continues to hone his acting and directing skills in his day job as CEO of a software development company.

Pack of Lies:
ALAIN CHAMSI (Peter Kroger) is
pleased to return to Kanata Theatre’s stage after a stint as a director these
past three years. Alain has performed in a number of KT productions such as
Here on the Flight Path, The Uninvited, The Snowball and
Rumors. Alain has also been involved with other community groups as well.
Most recently, he appeared in Ottawa Little Theatre’s production of My Old
Lady. He performed in Lakeside Players productions of The Melville Boys
and Drinking Alone.
