SHANNAN COLLINS-VIG (Alice, Sue, Jan, Theresa) As a high
school teacher (Bell H.S.) by day, Shannan was thrilled to jump
into Staff Room’s all-too-familiar scenes! Her debut with Kanata Theatre
was as Betsy the witch in this season’s musical, The Dragonslayers. Also
involved with West Carleton’s theatre scene, Shannan was set designer for Rural
Root Theatre Company’s My Darling Judith and was dramatic
director/designer for West Carleton Secondary School’s Jesus Christ Superstar.
Shannan also played Nicole in Bonjour La, Bonjour and Loretta in The
Melville Boys at the University of Alberta: and in the Citadel Theatre’s
production of Night of the Long Noses she played the nasty teacher, Mrs.
Cratchett. Typecasting? No way!
