He was named Best Actor in a Supporting Role at both the Eastern Ontario Drama League and Theatre Ontario Festivals in 2004 for his portrayal of Nunzio in Over the River and Through the Woods. He last appeared on stage as Father Jack in Dancing at Lughnasa.
