From the program for When the Reaper Calls: DAYNA MACDONALD (Officer McGuire) is happy to be back on the KT stage after a six year absence. Her last appearance was in 2001’s Departures and Arrivals. Since then, Dayna has concentrated on her school work and starting her career as a music teacher. She is currently balancing part-time studies at the University of Ottawa with teaching both private and group piano lessons. Dayna is thrilled to be back and is looking forward to getting involved in many future productions, both onstage and off. From the program for Having Hope at Home: DAYNA MACDONALD (Carolyn Bingham) last appeared on the KT stage as the overly zealous Officer McGuire in When the Reaper Calls. Since then, she has played a scorned wife in Agatha Christie’s The Hollow and a spinsterish chaperone in A Room With a View, both with Phoenix Players. Dayna is excited about the new challenges this role has presented her and couldn’t be happier to be back “home” at the Ron Maslin Playhouse. From the program for Cash on Delivery: DAYNA MACDONALD (Brenda Dixon) was last seen on the Kanata Theatre stage earlier this season as the very pregnant Carolyn in Having Hope at Home. Other acting credits include When the Reaper Calls for Kanata Theatre, and The Hollow and A Room with a View with Phoenix Players. Dayna is thrilled to be working with such a wonderful cast and would like to send out a special thank you to her "lovely Norman" for being the support she needed during the last few months.
