From The Heiress: MARK MCPHERSON (Arthur Townsend) is thrilled to extend his involvement in the performing arts by joining the vibrant cast and characters of the Kanata Theatre stage. In 2002, he performed professionally in the Opera Lyra production of Carmen at the National Arts Centre. Prior to his performance in Carmen, Mark performed at Henry of Pelham Estates in William Shakespeares Twelfth Night, or What you Will. Marks acting debut was with the Sears Drama festival in 1996. From Framed!: MARK MCPHERSON recently performed with the Arnprior Players in the leading role of Stanley Gardner in Ray Cooney’s comedic production Caught in the Net. Prior to that, Mark made his debut on the Kanata Theatre stage playing Arthur Townsend in The Heiress. In 2002, he performed in the Opera Lyra production of Carmen at the National Arts Centre. Thanks go out to everyone who helped Mark along the way. From Leading Ladies: MARK MCPHERSON (Butch) most recently performed at the Ottawa Fringe Festival in The Wedding Night, which was awarded best in venue. Mark has been a member of Kanata Theatre since 2007 and has enjoyed supporting roles in the productions of Framed! and The Heiress. This past winter, he performed with the Arnprior Players and made audiences laugh playing Stanley Gardner in Ray Cooney’s farce Caught in the Net.
