From You'll Used to it: The War Show: GEOFF WILLIAMS (Duds) feels that there has never been a time when he was not part of Kanata Theatre, because parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents have all been members. He himself had a walk-on part in Hobson's Choice and had an acting role in Through the Looking Glass. He has also busied himself backstage, specialising in set construction and stage-floor painting. A student at the Earl of March Secondary School, Geoff also worked backstage in school productions. From the program for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest: GEOFF WILLIAMS (Billy) has been a member of Kanata Theatre all his life. He has played several major roles such as Duds in You'll Get Used to It! - The War Show and Brian in The Dragon Slayers. Geoff enjoys participating in set construction or aiding with stage crew when he isn't acting. He plans to learn sound and lighting and hopes to become a jack-of-all-trades at the Ron Maslin Playhouse. From the program for The Kitchen Witches: GEOFF WILLIAMS (Rob) most recently appeared as a lead actor in a Fringe Festival production as well as a volunteer at several of the venues. Geoff has appeared many times on the KT stage, most notably as Billy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and as Dud in You’ll Get Used to It! - The War Show. When Geoff is not on stage he greatly enjoys lighting design and construction work. In his upcoming year of study, Geoff will finally get a chance to direct his own (short) one act show at the University of Ottawa. From the program for A Few Good Men: GEOFF WILLIAMS (Pfc. Louden Downey) will be receiving his degree in Theatre and Film Studies this year, from the University of Ottawa. He has made Kanata Theatre a home away from home, appearing in many performances: Kitchen Witches, Just So, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Dragon Slayers, Through the Looking Glass and You’ll Get Used To It! - The War Show. He also made an appearance in the Ottawa Fringe Festival in Antique Bliss. When he’s not on stage, he enjoys working with lights and hopes to begin writing his own one act.
