From the program for Inherit the Wind:
BEVERLEY BROOKS (Mrs. Brady) appeared last season as Amanda in Private Lives. She has acted, worked backstage and directed at Kanata Theatre for more than 20 years. Favourite roles include Jean Brodie (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie), Lizzie Borden (Blood Relations), and Arkadina (The Seagull). Beverley won the 2006 CCC Best Actor Award for her role in The Beauty Queen of Leenane and was nominated again in 2009 as Lily in Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks. She studied drama in England.

From the program for The Seagull:

BEVERLEY BROOKS (Irina Arkadina) has acted, directed and worked backstage at Kanata Theatre since 1991. Her acting roles include Jean Brodie, Titania (A Midsummer Night's Dream), and most recently, Maureen (The Beauty Queen of Leenane) for which she won the Capital Critic's Award for Best Actor in 2006. Bev has also acted at OLT and Tara, and in two independent films. Her directing credits include The Woman in Black and Enchanted April. She studied theatre in England and has taught high school Drama.

From the program for Enchanted April:

BEVERLEY BROOKS (director) was last seen on stage as the desperate, delusional daughter in The Beauty Queen of Leenane. She has acted, directed and worked backstage at Kanata Theatre since 1991. She played the title role in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Kate (and Agnes - though not simultaneously) in Dancing At Lughnasa, the mother in Kindertransport among others, and has also performed at Ottawa Little Theatre and TARA. Bev has directed several ‘spooky’ plays including The Woman in Black, The Uninvited and The Death of Dracula. This season she has turned her attention to an ‘enchantingly’ joyous production and is thrilled to bring Elizabeth von Arnim’s novel and subsequent movie, The Enchanted April to Kanata Theatre’s stage.

From the program for Happy Birthday Dear Alice:

BEVERLEY BROOKS (Barbara) was last seen on stage as the desperate, delusional daughter in The Beauty Queen of Leenane. She has acted, directed and worked backstage at KT since 1991. She has played the title role in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Kate (and Agnes -though not simultaneously) in Dancing At Lughnasa, the Mother in Kindertransport, among others; and has also performed at Ottawa Little Theatre and Tara Players. Bev has directed several 'spooky' plays including The Woman in Black, The Uninvited and The Death of Dracula. Last season she directed Enchanted April. Having portrayed Irish, Scots, English, German and American, she is still looking for a role in a Welsh dialect.

From the program for The Countess:

BEVERLEY BROOKS (Lady Eastlake) was last seen as Irina Arkadina in last season’s The Seagull. Bev has acted, directed and worked back-stage at KT since 1991. Memorable roles include Jean Brodie, Titania, and Maureen in The Beauty Queen Of Leenane, for which she won the Capital Critics Circle Award for Best Actor in 2006. Bev has also acted at OLT and TARA and has appeared in two independent films. Her directing credits include The Woman In Black, The Death Of Dracula and Enchanted April. She studied theatre in England and has taught drama at high school.

From the program for Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks:

BEVERLEY BROOKS (Lily Harrison) was last seen as Effie’s friend, Elizabeth Eastbrook in The Countess. She has acted, worked backstage and directed at KT since 1991. Notable directing credits include: Enchanted April and The Woman in Black. She won The Ottawa Critic’s Circle Best Actor Award for her 2006 role in The Beauty Queen of Leenane.

Bev is enjoying working again with her stage partner as well as working on the many challenges of this production: the dancing, the Southern States accent and the portrayal of an older character.

She wishes to dedicate her performances in this production to her recently deceased father.

From the program for Pack of Lies:

BEVERLEY BROOKS (Director) was last seen on stage at Kanata Theatre as spry, seventy-two year old Lily in Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks, which earned her an Ottawa Critic’s Circle ‘Best Actor’ nomination in 2009. She most recently appeared as Joanna in OLT’s 2010 production of Noel Coward’s Present Laughter. Her favourite past roles include Titania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Jean Brodie (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie), Lizzie Borden / Bridget (Blood Relations), Kate (Dancing At Lughnasa) and Arkadina (The Seagull). Beverley has acted, worked backstage and directed at KT since 1991. She has also appeared in two indie horror movies! Notable directing credits include: Woman in Black, Death Of Dracula, Experiment With An Air Pump and Enchanted April. Beverley has a background in teaching Drama. She won The Ottawa Critic’s Circle Best Actor Award for her 2006 role as Maureen in The Beauty Queen of Leenane.

From the program for Private Lives:

BEV BROOKS (Amanda) is performing in her second Noel Coward play. She previously played Joanna in OLT`s 2010 production of Present Laughter. Beverley`s most recent Kanata Theatre appearance was in 2009 as Lily in Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, also directed by Susan Monaghan. During her 21 years with KT, she has contributed to countless productions either by working behind the scenes, directing or acting. She directed last season`s espionage production Pack of Lies. Selected acting credits include: Maureen (Beauty Queen of Leenane), Kate (Dancing at Lughnasa), Jean Brodie (Prime of Miss Jean Brodie), Arkadina (The Seagull), and Shakespeare`s Titania. Beverley is grateful to KT for the many directing and on-stage opportunities which allow her to explore and express her odder "right-brain" creative tendencies.
